Description
This unique formula contains herbal extracts and menthol in a gel form. The gel leaves very little residue on the skin and the product is economically priced for liberal use. The product is used extensively because of compliance with drug regulations in sports medicine. Iceman contains Arnica and Echinacea together with traces of South African grown herbal products. Arnica is well known as a topical application for bruises and sprains. Echinacea is known for its anti-microbial and anti-bacterial effects, preventing infection and repairing damaged tissue through inhibiting the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase, activated by various pathogens and inflammatory processes, destroys one of the building blocks of tissue, hyaluronic acid. Reduction in this destruction process improves the integrity of cells. Menthol applied to the skin dilates the blood vessels, causing a sensation of coldness followed by an analgesic effect. Ideal for the cooling of muscles and legs after exercise.
