For the best impressions, support the workpiece on a solid backing such as an anvil, steel block or heavy vice jaw.
Hold the punch upright, position the letter carefully, and use a firm, controlled hammer blow to create a crisp mark.
Ideal for workshops, fabrication shops, farms, automotive repair centres and general maintenance departments.
Not recommended for hardened or heat-treated steel, as this can damage or chip the punches.
