The Mustad Double S Loop Hoof Knife is ergonomically designed to be used in either your left or right hand. The ergonomic fit and well-balanced design of the hoof knife allows it to lie comfortably in the hand. The blade is fitted in line with the lower part of the handle, allowing pinpoint accuracy while trimming the sole. The hook has a smaller radius, making it easier to trim between the frog and the bar. The small hook also makes it easier to form smaller holes in the hoof when removing abscesses. The blade is made of the most suitable knife steel, and it is hardened and tempered for high performance and durability.
