Lip Strap Solo

A finely rolled leather lip strap designed to keep the curb chain in place and prevent it from bouncing against the horse's chin groove. Small but practical — an accessory that makes a noticeable difference on horses that go in a pelham, kimblewick, or any bit with a curb chain.

How It Works

The lip strap loops onto one side of the bit, threads through the small ring on the curb chain, and buckles onto the other side of the bit. This anchors the curb chain and stops it from rising or bouncing during movement. The result is more consistent, quieter contact on the chin groove — and a tidier overall bitting arrangement.
