Description
The Bevel bit is often used in the show ring for lead rein and ridden pony classes. It is a mild bit although it offers a little more control and can be helpful to children rider as it assists in the pony’s outline, head carriage and responsiveness. The brass material stimulates salivation which in turn encourages a softer mouth. The Elliptical Link Snaffle Bit has a rounded central piece and therefore gentler in the horses mouth. A popular bit across multiple disciplines as it is easier accepted by most horses. The elliptical mouth reduces pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth as well as the palate. Elliptical mouths encourage a softer contact.
