Bit contact dutch gag 5.5 inch

This bit is made of stainless steel, which is guaranteed never to rust, bend or break. This bit is a very popular training and competition aid for showjumping and event horses. The nutcracker action of the snaffle mouthpiece makes this gag more severe than similar bits with straight mouthpieces. Ideally this bit should be used with double reins but can be used with a single rein on either of the 2 lower rings. The lower the rein connection, the stronger the lever action and therefore the more severe the bit. Sizes: 5", 5.5" and 6".
