Product description
Dectomax 250ml is a broad-spectrum injectable parasite control solution containing 1% doramectin (10 mg/mL) manufactured by Zoetis, used to treat and control internal and external parasites like roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites in livestock.
Active Ingredient and Target Species
- Active Constituent: Doramectin 10 mg/mL (1% w/v) sterile solution.
- Target Animals: Cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.
Dosage and Administration Guidelines
- Cattle: Inject 1 mL per 50 kg of body mass subcutaneously (under the skin) or intramuscularly.
- Sheep and Goats: Inject 1 to 1.5 mL per 50 kg of body mass.
- Pigs: Inject 1 mL per 33 kg of body mass intramuscularly.
- Milk Withholding: Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
