Extra Info
Extra Information
- Mount the dispenser in a clearly visible and easy-to-access location close to noisy equipment or access points to maximise usage.
- Periodically check the foam plugs for dust, debris or damage—replace any compromised pairs for continued protection.
- Ensure users are trained to insert plugs properly; a good seal is vital for achieving the stated protection level.
Pro Tip
- Place the dispenser near high-noise task areas or at entry points—this doubles as a visual reminder and convenience point, encouraging regular use.
Safety
Safety
- Ensure users insert the ear plugs fully and the foam expands to block the ear canal—improper insertion reduces protection.
- Avoid re-using disposable foam plugs beyond recommended wear; replace when compressed, dirty or worn.
- Use hearing protection along with other required PPE (e.g., eye, face, respiratory protection) depending on job-site hazards.
