The OF-FH 2200 is a routing aid accessory for compatible Festool routers.
Festool lists compatibility with OF 900, OF 1000, OF 1010, OF 1010 R, OF 1400, OF 2000 and OF 2200 routers.
The assembly instruction specifies a maximum cutter diameter of 28 mm.
The side stops can be adjusted 60 mm on both sides.
The zero points of the scales show the centre line of the groove to be routed.
A Festool mobile dust extractor can be connected with a 27 mm or 36 mm suction hose, with 36 mm recommended where clogging risk must be reduced.
This is an accessory only. Router, cutter and dust extractor are not included unless supplied separately.

Pro Tips

Set the side pieces to match the workpiece thickness before routing, then tighten the rotary knobs firmly.
Use the centre marking to line up accurately with your scribe mark before starting the cut.
Use a 36 mm suction hose where possible when routing slots that create heavier chip build-up.
Make a shallow first pass before routing to full depth, especially when working on finished doors.
Support and hold the router with both hands. The side pieces guide the router, but they are not intended to carry the router’s weight.

How to Use

Select the compatible Festool router and suitable cutter for the routing operation.
Secure the router to the OF-FH 2200 routing aid using the correct supplied screws for the router model.
Align the router on the routing aid according to the router mounting positions.
Connect suitable dust extraction to the extractor connector where required.
Open the rotary knobs on the side pieces.
Adjust the two side pieces using the scales so that their distance matches the workpiece thickness.
Tighten the rotary knobs securely.
Align the centre marking with the required scribe mark or groove centre line.
Hold the router firmly with both hands on the router handles.
Guide the router steadily along the workpiece edge while routing the groove or slot.
After use, clean the routing aid with a soft, dry cloth and store it safely.
