Fortitude® EDC (Extra Dry Cow) is indicated for the inframammary treatment of the cow at drying off. It maintains effective antibiotic concentrations in the udder for up to 7 weeks. Composition: Fortitude® EDC intrammarary is a stable suspension containing 600 mg per syringe of specially-processed cloxacillin as the benzathine salt in a long-acting base with 3% aluminium monostearate. Dosage and directions for use: Use only as directed.One syringe per udder quarter immediately after the last milking of a lactation cycle. At the end of lactation, milk the cow out normally. Clean and disinfect the teat end with the supplied teat wipe. Infuse one pre-filled syringe of Fortitude® EDC into each quarter, without milking out. The cow will be milked as usual when she calves down. A suitable disinfectant teat dip should be applied after the infusion. Please note, we offer payment terms for approved businesses.
