Extra Info
Extra Information
- Grit progression tip: work in sequence from coarser to finer (e.g. P80 → P120 → P180/240) for best finish.
- Block sanding: use a firm backing block or pad to maintain flatness and control.
- Wet sand method: use light water flow, rinse paper frequently, avoid pooling liquid.
- Storage: keep sheets flat and dry to avoid curling or loss of backing integrity.
Safety
Safety
- Wear eye and dust protection when sanding—fine particles can irritate.
- If sanding with water, ensure surrounding environment won’t slip or promote electrical hazard.
- Avoid pooling or flooding paper which can degrade backing and reduce cut control.
- Replace sheets when worn—abrasive exhaustion increases load and may cause scratching.
